Physical DescriptionWhite football jersey for the Alabama Crimson Tide with red numbers and letters. The number "16" is on both sides with "Obama" over the number on the reverse. Above the numbers on the obverse are patches for SEC, the team, and a rubber Nike swoosh. A patch for "2016" with a football as the zero is over the proper left breast.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of a ceremony at the White House on March 2, 2016 to honor the 2015-2016 College Football Playoff National Champion Alabama Crimson Tide.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration.
