Historical NotePresented on January 27, 2016 by Israeli Ambassador Ron Dermer at the Righteous Among the Nations Ceremony at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, DC. President Barack Obama attended the ceremony, which honored the Americans Roddie Edmonds and Lois Gunden as well as Polish citizens Walery and Maryla Zbijewski, who all risked their lives to rescue Jews during the Holocaust.
