Physical DescriptionA small blue, yellow, and black quilt. Front of the quilt has fabric print with a "Forever" stamp design featuring Valdez, Alaska with a yellow block border. The stamp is a picture of a sunny ocean scene with mountains in the background, sea lions on a buoy, a puffin, and other birds. Four yellow stars in each corner. The back of the quilt has black fabric with a repeated tan salmon print. An off-white patch is sewn on the bottom, proper right corner, with a handwritten message and the quilt maker's names.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
