Physical DescriptionRed University of Cincinnati Bearcats football jersey with white sleeves decorated with black triangles. Front of the jersey has the team name, logo, a patch for the Hawai'i Bowl, a patch in the shape of the United States Flag, the team name, and the number one. The back of the jersey has a patch for the 100th anniversary of Nippert Stadium, patches spelling out Obama and a large number 1.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
