Physical DescriptionA U.S. Women's National Soccer Team jersey. Blue ombré colored jersey with white on the top and dark blue on the bottom, white mesh fabric strip along the sides under the arm, and triangular red accent on the bottom of v-neck. On the front is a number "44" in white with the Nike and U.S. Women's Soccer logo on either side. On the back is "Obama" in white and a large number "44" in U.S. flag pattern.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of a ceremony at the White House on October 27, 2015, to honor the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team for winning the 2015 World Cup.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration.
