Physical DescriptionA pair of earrings made from the baleen of a bowhead whale (.a-b). Earrings are drum-shaped with an ivory bead above the round part. Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration.
