Physical DescriptionSet of two commemorative coins for the United Nations Ambassador for the Commonwealth of Dominica. On the obverse of both coins there is a depiction of the United Nations logo. On the first coin (.a), surrounding the United Nations logo are the debossed words "UNITED NATIONS AMBASSADOR PAOLO ZAMPOLLI". On the reverse side is the coat of arms for the Commonwealth of Dominica surrounded by text reading "COMMONWEALTH OF DOMINICA" and "AMBASSADOR PAOLO ZAMPOLLI PAOLO@ZAMPOLLI.COM"Overall - 3D (.b) H 1/4 in x Diam 1 3/4 in (0.6 cm x 4.4 cm )
On the reverse of the second coin (.b) there is a picutre depicting the son of the Ambassador to the United Nations, as well as text surrounding the picture that say "UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY" and the subjects name.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to the First Family during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
