Physical DescriptionOlive green and khaki-colored women's Therma Base long sleeve zip-up jacket with the 2011 World Series logo in the center. Logo is in white and olive green with orange trim. Khaki parts on jacket are side panels and cutouts on sleeves. At the reverse nape of the neck there is a rubber MLB logo.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of Game 1 of the 2011 World Series on October 19, 2011. First Lady Michelle Obama and Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden traveled to Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri to meet with military families and to recognize Major League Baseball's support of active-duty military members. The First Lady and Dr. Biden watched the game with Marine Lance Cpl. James Sperry and his daughter Hannah.Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to the First Family during the Obama Administration.
