Physical DescriptionPhysical DescriptionRed, black, and white University of Puget Sound Loggers knit soccer scarf. Each end of the scarf features black and white fringe. The two sides of the scarf are identical, with PUGET SOUND in red, black and white in the center, flanked on each end by P S LOGGERS, with an ax acting as a slash mark between the P and S. There is a red and black border around the exterior.
Historical NoteThis object was gifted in 2015 by a freshman at the University of Puget Sound who attended the Reach Higher “Beating the Odds” Summit hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama after being able to apply for college financial aid due to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration.
