Physical DescriptionNecklace with a blue chiffon fabric base, bronze colored circular plates, a silver-toned metal chain, and dangling bronze beads finished with a small black bead. Necklace is composed of a series of six rows, the innermost being a braided neck with spread out plates, followed by a line of metal bar beads, a denser row of metal plates, the chain, a row of bronze bar beads, and a row of petal shaped silver-toned beads. The dangling beads are only at the front center.Overall - 2D (Chain Length) L 18 in (45.7 cm )
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration.
