Physical DescriptionA large, ornate gold colored rectangular frame in horizontal orientation with blue and white mat board. The frame contains three photographs from the LA Galaxy's 2011, 2012, and 2014 MLS championships. The bottom center is gold plaque bottom reads "President Obama, thank you for your support of the LA Galaxy and soccer in the United States." The back of the frame has a paper dust cover and hanging hardware.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of a ceremony at the White House to honor the 2014 Major League Soccer (MLS) LA Galaxy and the 2014 Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings on February 2, 2015.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to the First Family during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
