Physical DescriptionSet of three gold-toned delicate metal ornaments depicting scenes from Monroe, Oregon. All three ornaments are stencilled with a frame and interior design that is pushed backwards to create a 3-dimensional effect. The first ornament depicts an industrial scene of Hull-Oakes Lumber Company (.a). The second ornament depicts a helicopter retrieving a Christmas tree (.b). The third ornament depicts a church (.c). All three ornaments hang from a center gold-toned string loop.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
