Physical DescriptionIvory robe with gold metallic decoration throughout. On the interior are gold floral decorations with pink and green flowers. The exterior has a pattern of metallic gold polka-dots with linear patterns on the interiors. On the shoulders are large circular decorations depicting a tree in the center, two crossed swords and vine-like decoration throughout.
Historical NoteReceived during a visit from Saudi Arabian Prince Mitib bin Abdallah bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud to the White House on November 19, 2014.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to the First Family during the Obama administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
