Physical DescriptionNavy blue robe with multicolor paisley pattern throughout the exterior. The interior is shiny purple. The neckline and opening of the robe is decorated with purple and gold embroidery and there are two large purple and gold tassels that hang down from the chest area of the front of the robe.Historical NoteReceived during a visit from Saudi Arabian Prince Mitib bin Abdallah bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud to the White House on November 19, 2014.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to the First Family during the Obama administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
