Physical DescriptionPhysical DescriptionWorld War II era ration book with three remaining pages containing stamps. Printed in faint blue ink across the stamps is a depiction of the Great Seal of the United States. Two pages contain black "Spare" stamps in sequential order. The third page contains green stamps that are lettered from Z-V in reverse alphabetical order and numbered 1 through 8 in sequential order printed with a depiction of a hand holding a torch. The last page of "Spare" stamps also includes five "Coffee" stamps. All stamps have perforated edges in columns and rows.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration.
