Physical DescriptionCommemorative uncut sheet of three Thai banknotes commemorating the 80th birthday of King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand. The notes comprise the 1-Baht, 5-Baht, and 10-Baht denominations in green, purple, brown, and pink tones. Each features a different portrait of the King at different stages of his life with a different historical illustrated scene. The reverse of the sheet bears several illustrated portraits and scenes featuring the King and royal family members in yellow and orange tones.Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
