The President appeared on the show to promote healthcare enrollment through the Affordable Care Act, often called "Obamacare." During the episode, Zach Galifianakis interviewed President Obama in his signature satirical style, discussing various humorous and offbeat topics related to the healthcare law. The Presidential episode was an instant hit and became a viral sensation, garnering more than 50 million views and also received a Clio Award for helping to raise awareness about healthcare enrollment and reach a younger audience.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration.
