Physical DescriptionTote bag for Peking University, one side of the bag is red with white text, the other side of the bag is gray with red text. The Peking University logo is on both. Bag celebrates two milestones in the university's foreign language department with the gray side printed with the years 1952-2012 while the red side of printed with the years 2002 to 2012.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of First Lady Michelle Obama's visit to China in March 2014.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
