Physical DescriptionBlue long sleeve caftan with gold embroidered details around the collar, down the front, on the bottom hem and side slits, and at the wrists. Gold cord buttons go down the length of the front and at the side slits. Three teardrop shapes frame the center on either side at the torso.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle, Malia, and Sasha Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
