Physical DescriptionLong sleeve white Yale University hockey jersey with navy blue stripes at the bottom and on the sleeves. Embroidered patches on the front of the jersey spell out "Yale 1" on the back of the jersey patches say "Obama 1". On both sleeves there are patches for "Y 1". Patch over the proper right breast is embroidered with "ECAC Hockey". The collar has a navy blue trim and a white string tie.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of a ceremony at the White House to honor 2012-2013 NCAA Division I Champions in various sports on March 10, 2014.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.
