Physical DescriptionGlashutte Original Senator PanoMaticLunar wristwatch (.a) with Louisiana alligator skin leather band. Metal has a red/gold hue. Face of the watch has three subdials and a rotating date tracker. The largest subdial tracks hours and minutes. Even numbers are in Arabic numerals and gold. Odd numbers are marked with a gold dash mark. At the bottom of the primary dial is a small subdial that slightly overlaps. The lower subdial indicates seconds. To the right of the primary dial is a crescent moon that indicates the phase of the moon. Below the moon is the date tracker. Knob for adjusting time is on right and ridged.

Back of watch is clear revealing silver gears with gold details.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.
