Label attached to top of box: Replica of the Etched Menorah Tablet found in the City of David Excavations in Ancient Jerusalem. The Menorah etching, dataing to approximately the year 0, is one of the earliest depictions of what was and remains the ancient universal symbol of Judiasm.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration.
