Physical DescriptionTwo-in-one ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil with a black body and silver accents. Turning the cap to the left reveals the ballpoint pen and turning it to the right reveals the mechanical pencil. There is a gold metal symbol on the top of the pen cap. The silver embellishment at the middle is engraved with floral shapes surrounded by an ornamental border.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
