Physical DescriptionPorcelain decorative plate with a depiction of the statue "Samson Tearing the Lion's Mouth" located in the Grand Cascade in front of Peterhof Palace. Surrounding statue are bands of golden designs with parts of the original porcelain showing through and one large pink band that contains circular leaf designs outlined in gold.Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of President Barack Obama's visit to Russia for the G20 Summit in September 2013.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama administration.
