Physical DescriptionFramed Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters diploma issued by Eastern Kentucky University to First Lady Michelle Obama matted beneath marbled maroon paper and held in a gold and dark wooden frame. In the bottom center of the diploma is the logo for the university. Matted to the right of the official diploma is a letter explaining the reasoning behind the award.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration.
