Physical DescriptionGrayscale painting on canvas depicting President Obama from the shoulder up looking forward and smiling. In the top right corner of the painting there is a depiction of an American flag with the canton painted blue and the stripes made of red reflective tape. Painted in black over the President's right shoulder are the words "The 44th President of the United States of America" with "U.S.A." underneath, written with the red reflective tape. Painted in red, white, and blue in the bottom corner are the words "U.S. President Barack Obama".
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration.
