Physical DescriptionSet of twenty engraved prints depicting detailed maps of Paris, France in the 1730s. All of the prints are held in a large blue portfolio with the title and publication information debossed in silver. The paper for each map is roughly cut and uneven along the edges.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of a visit to the United States by French President François Hollande in May, 2012 to attend the G8 Economic Summit and NATO Summit.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
