Physical DescriptionVarsity-style jacket made by Big Boy Headgear, Inc. and personalized for President Barack Obama. The body of the jacket is black wool with cream faux-leather sleeves and striped black, red, and white elastic at the neck, waist, and wrists. On the left lapel is an embroidered Seal of the President of the United States and on the right lapel embroidered in white is President Obama's signature above "Barack Obama." The upper arms have embroidered patches in red, white, and blue: on the left, a rectangular "Obama" patch above a crest-shaped "President Obama 44th" patch and on the right, a rectangular "Forward" patch above a crest-shaped USA patch. The reverse has an embroidered portrait of President Obama surrounded by text, "Forward" "President Obama" "44th" "Change We Can Believe in."Manufacturer's Size (XL)
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration.
