Physical Description
Physical DescriptionPainted collage on canvas with bright metallic colors, a predominant water motif, symbols of peace, and optimistic words. Throughout the painting there are depictions of birds, butterflies, musical notes, pink flowers on vines, leaves and planets. Bottom half of the painting is a jungle scene with an American flag containing the words "Global Peace" in the left corner. In the upper right of the painting there is an outer space scene containing a depiction of President Obama's face surrounded by stars and space dust.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to the First Family during the Obama Administration.
