Physical DescriptionTwo matted and framed Manchester United soccer jerseys. The obverse of the left jersey faces out with the team's logos visible on the red gingham material. The reverse of the right jersey faces the viewer, with "Obama 44" printed in white and black, and with signatures of the entire team. A signed presentation note from the team manager is mounted at the bottom, centered between the jerseys.
Historical NoteReceived during a "Let's Move" event held in London during the 2012 Olympic Summer Games.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
