Physical DescriptionJewelry set composed of a necklace and matching pair of earrings with porcelain cherry blossom flowers. The necklace is composed of a string of light purple pearls with a large cherry blossom pendant in the center. Gold-toned wire is wrapped around the pendant attaching it to the chain with additional wires containing small brown glass beads adding details to the bud. The earrings both have a single dangling cherry blossom with gold wire and brown glass bead detailing.


Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
