Physical DescriptionPainting depicting President Obama with the American Flag in the background on the bottom half of the canvas. Around the President's head are various words and phrases such as "America Dream", "Yes We Can", "Freedom", "Journey", "Inspiration", "Change", and "Courage". The upper half of the canvas is brown with thought bubbles rising from the President's head. In one bubble are windmills and in the other are abstract buildings, including one with a US flag on top. Under the thought bubble on the left are the words, "Renewable Energy" and under the other thought bubble is the word, "Jobs." All around them are white dollar signs.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
