Physical DescriptionBeige cotton trench coat (.a) with two rows of seven buttons down the front, leather buckles at the wrists, and a removable belt with matching buckle (.b). The reverse of the coat has a button holding down the back vent and two loops for the belt. The inner lining of the coat has a repeating embroidered logo depicting a knight on a horse.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.
