Physical DescriptionSmall rectangular silver purse. Long strap, weaved pattern on purse (.a) and on removable lid (.b). The sides of the lid and purse have metal loops that provide different options for where to attach the strap.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of the 2012 NATO Summit hosted in Chicago in May.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.
