Physical Description
Physical DescriptionOne white cloth table runner with a subtle box pattern and inset rectangular kente cloth patch with a diamond pattern of yellow, blue, green, and black. There are four gold medallion beads sewn onto the long ends of the white portion. Each end is pointed with a large gold bead with beaded tassels; the beaded tassels are gold and purple on one end and gold and white on the other.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
