Physical DescriptionTextile art portrait of President Barack Obama against a teal background with the outline of the Nobel Peace Prize above him and the US Flag and Flag of the President of the United States behind him to the left of the artwork. The Nobel Prize medallion is depicted in yellow with a black silhouette of a man and " Nobel Prize WInner." Beneath this, in the lower right quadrant is gold glittery embroidered text in French about Obama receiving the prize. The artwork is felted with embroidered details.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
