Physical DescriptionUniversity of Iowa-themed board game modeled after the game Monopoly. The game consists of a gameboard (.a), two dice (.b-c), six metal game pieces (.d-i), white plastic diploma pieces (.j), red plastic cubes with open bottoms ("credit hours") (.k), contingency cards (.l), campus mail cards (.m), deed cards (.n), and paper money (.o). The gameboard has the logo for the University of Iowa in the center below "Iowaopoloy". The background is light green with repeating IU logos. The spaces are themed after locations around the campus. The silver game pieces are in the shape of two pieces of pizza, a pencil, an alarm clock, a bicycle, and a shoe.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
