Physical DescriptionBronze candlestick holder with a three legs that sit on a circular stone base . Atop the three legs sits a ring on which an eight camel caravan is displayed. Each of the six candle holders is a ram's head that originates from the main ring. Each candle holder is equidistant from the middle of the piece and from one another.Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of President Barack Obama's September 2011 visit to the UN General Assembly.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
