Physical Description
Physical DescriptionSmall art quilt in yellow, red, and blue dedicated to Super Bowl XX in 1986. The quilt is made with a bears paw pattern on the corners of inset diamonds and has embroidered football shapes. There are two large embroidered Xs in the center. The obverse of the quilt is a solid mustard yellow color with patches of floral textile for the design. The reverse of the quilt is made of sewn together diamond pieces of floral fabric.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
