Physical DescriptionGray child's t-shirt with the London 2012 Olympic logo in the center. The logo is a stylized 2012 with the Union Jack inside the word London is printed on the first number 2 and the interlocking Olympic Rings are in the center of the 0. On the right sleeve are the words "London 2012". The red in the Union Jack is metallic. The Olympics logo Paralympics logo and Adidas logo are printed in black on the reverse at the nape of neck.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of an official state visit to the United Kingdom in May 2011.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to the First Family during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
