Physical DescriptionPair of Zoom KD III Nike brand basketball sneakers in white and orange. The tongue of both shoes is white mesh with a "kd" in orange at the top. The center of the "d" is a hollow circle. The toes, inner arch, heel and framing on the side in a faux white leather. The sides of the toes of Nike Flywire in orange with the inner lines visible. The outer heel has a white Nike swoosh and metallic orange paneling. The back of the heel has four gray rubber dots with "KD35" in them. At the faux leather of the inner heel is a Texas Long Horns logo. The interior of the shoe is orange.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
