Physical DescriptionPair of Zoom KD III Nike brand basketball sneakers in white, orange, and black. The tongue of both shoes is black mesh with a "kd" in black and yellow at the top. The center of the "d" is a hollow circle. The toes, inner arch, heel and framing on the side in a faux white leather. The sides of the toes of Nike Flywire in white and yellow with the inner lines visible. The outer heel has a black Nike swoosh and white textured panel. The back of the heel has four orange rubber dots with "KD35" in them. At the faux leather of the inner heel is a a second black Nike swoosh. The interior of the shoe is orange.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
