Physical DescriptionDecorative 24-karat gold-plated Tombac Ottoman Collection bowl with lid and inner glass bowl. The inner glass bowl is clear. It fits inside the metal bowl and the metal lid fits on top. The exterior of the metal bowl and lid are decorated with a repeating geometric pattern and leaf patterns near the top of the lid. The handle for the lid is shaped liked an unopened flower bud.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
