Physical DescriptionPurple athletic jacket and pant tracksuit set. The jacket has a zippered front elastic waist and wrists, hood at back can be folded into collar and locked into place with plastic snap. Jacket (.a) has gold-toned metal details, "Michelle Obama" printed in gold inside the left bottom, and the company logo printed on right arm. Purple athletic pants (.b) with elastic waistband, two pockets on either side, a zippered pocket on the back. Printed inside the right pocket in gold ink is "Michelle Obama"

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
