Physical DescriptionClear glass and wood commemorative plaque. The work commemorates the 18th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders' Meeting. The top part is an abstract-shaped piece of glass showcasing the calligraphy work of Professor Jao Tsung-I, Master of Sinology, in the center, the APEC logo in red above, and green text below. The glass piece is attached to a wooden base with a silver plaque.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of the 2010 Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Yokohama, Japan.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
