Physical DescriptionFramed oil painting depicting a river scene in vibrant blue and green tones. The painting looks down the side of a hill with flowers and plants on a river that contains four boats with people in them. There is another hill visible on the far right side and sailboats visible in the distance. The frame is bright yellow-gold with rippled carved lines with a tan canvas mat around the painting.Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
