Physical DescriptionTin-plated circular copper tray with raised edges that have indentations around the edges.
Inscriptions and MarkingsTwo stickers attached to center of top of plate with English and French messages. First sticker: "Tade Pay du Levant; Slight imperfections in this product guarantee that it is made by hand thus enhancing its unique nature." Second sticker: "Large antique tray; tin-plated copper; non-toxic alloy; hand-wash only; store dry to avoid tarnishing; tadepaydulevant.com; [mailing address]; serial number CUIPLAT07; made in SAR"
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
