Physical DescriptionGold-toned necklace on three strands of different types of chain with a center pendant piece. Centerpiece has a rectangular bar across the top, a wire-wrapped piece of blue kyanite, and hanging oval charm. On one side of the necklace the rectangle has a pressed swirling design and the oval is engraved with "Dance with an Open Heart". On the other side of the necklace the rectangle is engraved with the word "Embrace" and the oval has a pressed swirling design. The necklace clasp is shaped like a key and has three small red faceted crystals.


Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
