Physical DescriptionTwo-toned leather baseball glove. The exterior of the glove and the laces are tan leather while the webbing, wrist, and interior are dark brown. Embroidered along the index finger in red thread is "President Obama" and there is a made in America patch with a United States flag along the pinky. There are red, blue, and white patches for branding at the wrist and exterior of the thumb. The interior of the glove has the model information and the brand logo debossed and filled with black.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
