Physical DescriptionStainless steel laser-cut hamsa hand with blue beadwork There are three fish on the fingers, a flower at the wrist, and a bird in the palm. Around the bird are Hebrew letters spelling out the words for love, health, happiness, and success. There a three charms hanging from the fingers by pieces of leather. One is an olive branch, one is a clump of grapes, and the third is a pomegranate.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
